About Me and My Approach

I know that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, especially when life feels overwhelming, stuck, or uncertain. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, or navigating difficult transitions—and you don’t have to face it alone.

I’m Jessica Edmundson, a licensed therapist in Ohio and the founder of Willow and Harbor Therapy. For over 14 years, I’ve supported individuals through life’s challenges, helping them rediscover motivation, strengthen self-esteem, and develop practical skills to move forward with hope. Whether you’re healing from past experiences or learning to be more present in your day-to-day life, I provide a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood.

I take a person-centered, solution-focused approach, walking alongside you as you explore challenges and opportunities for growth. My work is grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that everyone deserves a genuine chance at a brighter future.

Balancing life myself—living in Ohio with my spouse and two kids—has given me firsthand experience with the challenges of managing work, family, and self-care. These experiences have taught me patience, perspective, and self-compassion—lessons I bring into my work with clients every day. Knowing what it’s like to navigate life’s competing demands helps me create a space where you can feel safe, supported, and understood.

Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I want you to know that you’re already doing something meaningful for yourself. Together, we’ll explore skills and strategies to help you navigate life’s difficulties and become the version of yourself you hope to be. You’re not alone on this journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
