Common Questions
You might have questions about starting therapy. Here you’ll find answers about the process and how you’ll be supported along the way.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
All sessions are held virtually through a secure video platform. This allows you to attend therapy from the comfort of your own space, without the added stress of commuting. Many clients find virtual therapy to be convenient, flexible, and just as effective as meeting in person.

I’ve never done virtual therapy before—what is it like?
It’s very similar to in-person therapy, just through a video call. We’ll still be able to talk, connect, and work through what’s going on in a meaningful way. If you’re unsure or a little nervous about it, that’s completely okay—I’ll help guide you through the process so it feels comfortable and easy.

How do I get started?
You can begin by scheduling a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us a chance to briefly connect, talk about what’s bringing you in, and see if working together feels like a good fit.

What happens in the first session?
In our first session, we’ll talk through what’s been going on and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I may ask some questions to better understand your experiences, but we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically 53 minutes long.

How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions, especially in the beginning. From there, we can adjust based on your needs, goals, and what feels most helpful for you.

What issues do you help with?
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck. If you’re unsure whether what you’re going through “fits,” you’re always welcome to reach out and ask.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If something in your life feels off, overwhelming, or difficult to manage on your own, therapy can be a helpful space to sort through it. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start.

What if I’m not sure you’re the right fit?
That’s completely okay. The consultation is a chance for you to get a feel for me and ask any questions you have. Finding the right therapist matters, and I want you to feel comfortable in that decision.

How will I be supported in therapy?
My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. We’ll work together to better understand what you’re going through and find ways to help you move forward in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.
